Rasa Gurukul is a stunningly beautiful riverside retreat among the tranquil coconut and spice groves of Kerala. Tamara (Lotus) are smaller than Chemparathi and Tulsi, yet they have everything you need. Except that you don’t see the river from the room. So if are the one of those people who love cozy rooms( because these rooms have a very intimate feel) then Tamara is the perfect room for you. And in case you want to see or hear the river, just step out of your room and take a walk in the extensive grounds of Gurukul, you are sure to experience the Chalakudy River in all its glory.
Named after one of the most revered plants in the Indian Pharmacopeia, these are rooms that face the river. Each of these rooms have its own patio from where you can enjoy the majesty of the river chalakuddy as it slithers over rocks like a giant snake in a hurry. A mere glance at this gentle river is enough to induce calm and bring equanimity to the ever restless mind. These rooms are air-conditioned and come with their own baths.
Named after the amazingly potent Hibiscus flower, these cottages are located right on the banks of the river Chalakuddy. Like everything else at Rasa Gurukul, they are traditionally styled and come with a large bedroom, a dining area, attached bath and is air conditioned for year long comfort. The space outside the cottages merge seamlessly with the natural beauty of the surroundings. At night you sleep to the lullaby created by rhythmic sounds of the river as it flows gently over rocks. And in the morning the birds are the ones ordained to wake you up.
